FAQ
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your wedding date and venue secured. Popular dates—especially Saturdays during Michigan’s peak wedding season—can book well in advance. That said, it never hurts to ask me! If your wedding is coming up soon, reach out and I’ll let you know if your date is still available.
How many hours of wedding photography do we need?
It really depends on the story you want captured. Six hours can work beautifully for a smaller or more intimate wedding, while 8–10 hours gives us more room to document everything from getting ready and the little details to your ceremony, portraits, reception, and dance floor.

We're awkward in front of the camera. Will you help us pose?
Absolutely!! and guess what you’re definitely not alone! Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward or have no idea what to do in front of a camera.
I’ll guide you with natural posing, movement, and prompts so you never feel like you’re standing there wondering what to do with your hands. I want you interacting with each other instead of constantly thinking about the camera.
And yes, I’ll tell you where to stand when you need me to. I'll be there every step of the way!
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We make something beautiful out of it!
Michigan weather can be unpredictable, so I always approach a wedding day ready to adapt. We can use covered areas, indoor spaces, umbrellas, window light, or take advantage of breaks in the weather.
Some of my favorite photographs happen when things don’t go exactly according to plan. Rain doesn't have to ruin your wedding photos..and sometimes it gives us the opportunity to create something completely beautiful.
