artful moments, honest connection

"I don’t just take photos — I pour my heart into every story I’m trusted to capture. I believe in building real connections with my clients, so you feel truly seen and celebrated. Your moments matter deeply to me, and I’m here to make sure your experience is filled with care, intention, and joy — from our first conversation to the final gallery. It’s an honor to be part of your story."

Hello, I'm josh

lifestyle & wedding Photographer

Hey, I’m Josh — but my birth name is Hung.

Most people find "Josh" a little easier to say, and over time, it just felt right. It’s a name I’ve grown into, much like the journey I’ve had behind the camera.

In December 2021, I married the love of my life, Allen. Together, we’ve built a cozy little world filled with laughter, love, and two ridiculously cute dogs, Dexter and Winston — who, yes, absolutely count as my children.

Photography has been part of my life for nearly a decade now. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much deeper — a way to preserve connection, emotion, and the feeling of a moment long after it’s passed. I don’t believe in overly posed shots or following a rigid plan. I believe in telling stories — yours — in a way that feels honest, heartfelt, and timeless.

More than just pretty pictures, I want to create something that lasts. Photos that will mean even more to you years from now than they do today.

If you’re looking for someone who will see you, hear you, and document your love with care — I’d be honored to be that person.

fun facts

I'm a self-taught photographer — no fancy photography degree here! I actually studied graphic design, and I didn’t even pick up a camera until late 2016.

My first love? A humble Nikon point-and-shoot. I started out capturing landscapes and cityscapes before ever turning my lens toward people.

I'm obsessed with details — symmetry, leading lines, and thoughtful composition are always on my mind, even in the middle of spontaneous moments.

Outside of weddings and portraits, I’m a full-on car enthusiast. Automotive photography is my second creative love!

At home, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen cooking Vietnamese and Asian dishes. Honestly, I could survive on rice alone and be perfectly happy!
